zero gallons

Vintage gas pump at the vacant gas station across the street from the Covina Police Department. Superimposed on the face, for a little added zip, is a photo taken in October, 2009, at the Thunderfest classic car show in downtown Covina.

I wish the price of gas today was the same as it was during the days of those vintage cars!

Wonderfully clever "Z" post - and you KNOW «Louis» likes the old cars superimposed over the gas pump. Just outstanding, Paula!

Very cleverly done. If you hadn't said anything, I would have thought it was the proper photo!

Oh, Paula, this is soooo nice. Vintage, eh? That's what I grew up with. Even worked at a station in Minnesota with these kind of pumps and an OUTSIDE lift for changing oil. Try that in the middle of winter!

And re your smart-aleck comment about me driving people away: Well, I don't understand it, either. I do take a shower every day. Maybe it's my heavy eyebrows?

Fascinating! How did you do that? Were the cars really there? It looks too perfect. Either way, it's - and I don't think I've ever used this word before - beguiling.
