under the streets

A portion of the Los Angeles Flood Control channel that winds throughout Los Angeles County to the Pacific Ocean. Not glamorous, but essential. Seen here for «Louis la Vache's» Sunday Bridge Series.

Essential, yes! There are many of these flood control canals in South Florida.

Looks rather like a back alley in Shantytown.

Re your comment on Ocala DP: At Panera Bread, you put in your order, find a table and wait until you get buzzed. Then you go pick up your order. Works pretty well. What's funny is they always ask your name, but never use it!

The kind of place I love to take a walk with a camera.

I didn't know...flood control...that's not something we have too much of a problem with over here!

Interesting and really unusual view.
Like the light effect you reached with the hdr!

I wish they'd control the flooding we've been having here! I really like this photo :D

«Louis» apologizes that he wasn't able to comment yesterday (Sunday) on your contribution to Sunday Bridges. He appreciates your participation.

As you wrote, not glamorous, but essential.
