Powell Camera

This shop retains the collection of Clarence Tucker, Covina's original resident photographer, who photographed much of Covina's history prior to 1950. In black and white, of course.

For other black and white images, visit The Weekend in Black and White

I love the tones and contrast, and smoky looking reflections. Great!

If one is going to do b&w, this is the way it should be done!

You are fortunate to have a camera shop like this available to you. Most of these have disappeared over time, leaving us with the Big Box stores and the Internet. We have a wonderful shop in Fort Lauderdale 20 years ago with a great inventory and very knowledgeable people...it was a joy to shop there.
