Presently Bishamon Japanese Restaurant, this was once the location of one of Covina's earliest and most popular restaurants, Longworth's Cafe. Below is an advertisement from the June 01, 1934, issue of the Covina Argus newspaper. Sushi would have required a pretty hard sell in 1934 Covina.

Very urban feel to this photo - I like it. Wow, homemade cakes, pie, and ice-cream! That could have been my favorite place to eat!
