Vacant lot...stylized view

Located on south Citrus Avenue, this was once the site of Covina's first fully automated drive-thru carwash back in the 1960s. It remained in operation up until a few years ago. The grocery cart remained there for several days last week. Then it too vanished.

How very clever, and picturesque!

Our grocery store has the sensors on the carts so you can't move them past the parking lot. Even so, I still see many around the neighborhood.

What a capture this is. It's a story in itself!

I remember those first car washes! I believe my father was asked to join in such a venture, but he turned it down.

Love what you did with this photo - made it into a sketch and then kept that bright red color. Super job!

This is very cool. The effect is brilliant and enhances the lone red cart in the dirt.

What an excellent shot of textures and contrasts of tones, with the red just popping out!

Great eye and effects.

Thanks so much for your contribution – doesn't seem to matter where we are in the world there's always an issue with trolleys!

I try to visit as many contributors as possible each week but sometimes I just dont manage it, but we have a great ABC team and between us we see that everybody gets a comment. We are coming to the end of the current round and plans are in store for the next round, I do hope you will be part of the fun! If you would like to be part of the team just drop me an e-mail :-
