It's a striking monochrome, with so much detail. I have to admit, though, that I like the original version a lot.

Another dramatic shot, and the b&w works well, but I, also, prefer the original.

This is very dramatic, nice effects and touches. I do like the original, also, for different reasons, liking the contrasts of the blue sky with the tree.
